SYM2010

The main concept of the logo was inspired by the grace and dynamism of the main character of the musical, SGI President Daisaku Ikeda. He performs the fan dance to encourage SGI members at various occasions. Through the fan dance, President Ikeda strives to bring hope and joy to the members, demonstrating his indomitable spirit of never begrudging his life for the sake of attaining peace and happiness for humanity.

A fan is also commonly used in dance and on stage, symbolising the theatrics of the SSA Youth Musical (SYM).

The blue swooping wave represents a path of water radiating from the blue planet - symbolizing peace.

This dynamic wave and the opened fan represent the theme of the musical – “Spreading Humanism, Opening the Way” (SHOW).

The overall “S” shape lends itself to the theme SHOW, the event SYM and the organisation SSA.

2010年SSA青年音乐剧的标志的说明

此标志的概念启发自音乐剧主角池田SGI会长挥动折扇呈献扇子舞时优雅且富活力的英姿。池田先生以扇子舞，在各个场合竭力鼓励SGI会员，倾注心力带给会员希望和勇气，体现了他为了实现世界和平与人类的幸福而不惜自身命的不屈不挠的精神。

扇子是舞蹈中和舞台上常运用的道具，象征了SSA青年音乐剧呈现的戏剧演出。

向下猛冲的蓝色波浪则代表了蔚蓝地球喷发出的水道，象征和平。

气势凛然的波浪和打开的扇子二者代表了音乐剧的主题——“扩展人本主义，开拓和平大道”。

整体的“S”形则代表了剧目（“SHOW”）、SSA青年音乐剧（“SYM”）和新加坡创价学会（SSA）的第一个英文字母的缩写。
